i am so fucking DONE with USPS and postal services in general
i ordered a book online to be shipped to my home address even tho i would be out of town for a few weeks, and wasn’t sure when it would be delivered. this should not have been a problem, as i also put a forward mail on my address for the time i would be gone.
i just checked the status of my order, seeing as i should’ve gotten it by now, and find out the post office fucking disposed my order.
there was only ONE delivery attempt by USPS (WHO I HAD A FORWARD MAIL ADDRESS WITH) and was apparently deemed “undeliverable” so they fucking disposed of it.
seeing as the whole thing went through USPS, the order should have registered my forwarding address and have been sent to my parents house
just fuck everything i’m so pissed. they fucked my shit up earlier too by marking my fucking mailbox VACANT (again, when I had a temporary forward mail), which now that i think about it, is probably why they marked my shit “undeliverable”.
i’m so fucking angry i want to scream. how do you fuck up this bad? how??? am i gonna be expected to pay for this shit? do i need to contact barnes and noble and be like “hey, the post office fucked up and i never got my shit, can you please send another one?”
also what the fuck does DISPOSED MEAN??? did they send it back to sender? did they fucking trash it? did some postal worker walk out with my fucking TAZ book? AAAAAGGGGGHHHHHHHH
