There are a million things for Adam to discover about Ronan. he’s only started scratching the surface. There’s everything from Ronan’s weird protective love of Alice in Wonderland to the way he hisses a sharp breath in through his teeth when Adam’s fingers grace his hipbone. 

Then there’s the day when, both half asleep in Ronan’s old room, Adam spies the bagpipes in their case again, gathering dust.

“Can you really play that thing?” Adam asks.

Ronan, suddenly, joyfully awake, starts to cackle. “Oh man,” he says. “You’re going to regret asking that.”
