This is the price of voter apathy. This is what happens when good people sit on their hands and think they have no voice — that their vote just doesn’t matter:

My fear is that when November comes around, too many of us will forget what’s happening now.

Get registered, get an ID if it’s required, do whatever the fuck you have to to make this devil pay for his inhumanity. And do it now.
If you’re in a safe Democratic district, vote anyway. We have to send a clear message. We want a tsunami, not a ripple.
If you’re in a safe Republican district, fuck you — there are no safe Republican districts anymore. We’re challenging them everywhere, up and down the ballot.

The FBI and DHS both have released reports saying White Supremacist/Right Wing hate groups are far and away bigger threats to Americans than radicalized Muslims and Far Left groups.
The RNC sent me a notice of official census material that was actually a fundraiser for the republican candidates running in the midterms. The paperwork was presented as being an official document required to be filled out by law, but it was patently false. This is corruption. This is meant to deceive people into giving data and money to a political party under the guise of nonpartisan census data. This undermines trust in the census, local government, and the democratic process. This is beyond disgusting, and I’m mailing back the form to tell the RNC how I really feel about their bullshit.
Okay, so apparently Twitter bots from Russia (or Republicans) are tweeting some more propaganda.
#NoMenMidterms and #HERstory hashtags are being pushed by obvious troll accounts.
Notice the Republican trope of using the word “Democrat” when referring to the Democratic Party (instead of Democrats with an “s” on the end). And then there’s the conservative fixation on George Soros, and LOL, “the Matriarchy”. Also, the notable usage of weaponized identity politics. (Do I even need to address the comic sans font?)
And most of the accounts pushing these hashtags have fewer than 100 followers, and are recently created (but older accounts may have been literal “sleeper” accounts).
So anyway, this is where we’re at right now. GOP bots, Russian bots and “sup guy find more here” bots spreading like crazy on social media. Please be wary of the media you consume. Some of it is propaganda.
This may have started out as a “joke” on 4Chan, but it’s only gonna get worse (and more sophisticated and harder to detect) as we get closer to November.
