Listen, buddy, one of my absolute favorite Marvel characters set Manhattan on fire to spell “Fuck You” in letters so big you had to be in a helicopter to read them, out of revenge and anger.

Lotor keeping secrets and doing incredibly amoral things in a sincere attempt to save a larger number of people (and his own reputation *side-eyes*) is honestly tame by comparison.

If you want someone who only stans the best, purest characters, you are in the wrong place, because I stan the fuckups. Like, they usually mean well, or have character arcs where they try to become better people, or they try to make up for their wrongdoings.

But they’re still fuckups who did really awful, awful things, usually with a side of psychological trauma. Or physical trauma. Fiction is not kind to my faves.

(Learn the meaning of ‘informed consent,’ Lotor. That’s. That’s literally all you had to do. They worshiped you. If you’d just fucking TOLD THEM WHY, some of them would have VOLUNTEERED, YOU UTTER DUMBASS.)

EDIT: I realize that one of those lines is a little ambiguous. The psychological and physical trauma is usually happening TO the faves, not being caused by them. I mean, they’re fighty, don’t get me wrong, but they tend to suffer through hell long before they hurt anyone else.
