Richard Campbell Gansey III, hunter of Glendower, from Maggie Stievater’s “The Raven Cycle” who I became very attached to for embodying some of my favorite ideas expressed in the books, such the desire to be KNOWN and the struggle of trying to make one’s outsides match their insides. I’d also like to note that the final line of Chapter 64 of “The Raven King” punched me in a way that was haunting and lovely and profound despite only being four words. This series is a gorgeous and incredible creature.
