okay so on the topic of jack being good with babies i fully think that jack isn’t the type to baby talk but will instead, when he’s holding a baby who’s babbling away, put on his srs bsns face and respond like he’s having a very important conversation with said baby

SO LET’S SAY bitty and jack are married and have been for a couple of months and shitty and lardo are FINALLY getting married and they’re at the reception and one of lardo’s relatives asks jack to watch the baby for a few minutes while she runs to the restroom

and let’s say that bitty walks over with his fresh glass of champagne while jack’s having this very important conversation with the baby and the baby babbles something loudly and forcefully when she notices bitty and jack looks at the baby and says, “yes i agree with you, he is very handsome” and glances at bitty and smiles, bitty rolls his eyes and smiles back

and the baby babbles some more and jack nods and says “well of course i think he’s very special, i plan on spending the rest of my life with him” and even though they’ve been together forever, even though they’re MARRIED jack can still see bitty’s cheeks turn pink

and then the baby kinda smacks jack on the chest and grins and jabbers a little bit more and jack starts speaking and says “well, ive always kind of wanted children someday, but that’s something bitty and i are going to have to talk about soon i suppose” and by the time he finishes the sentence he’s watching bitty meaningfully and bitty’s staring at him wide-eyed before he breaks into a grin that nearly stops jack’s heart

and that, my friends, is how the bittleman family gets its start
